SUMMARY:
This role supports production quality and basic quality systems at the Trenton facility, ensuring manufacturing readiness and product quality. The position focuses on practical, day-to-day quality assurance and control activities, with responsibility for maintaining essential quality processes and documentation, while supporting continuous improvement and compliance with relevant standards 
 
Essential Responsibilities 
  
  • Collaborate with technicians and cross-functional teams to ensure quality readiness and support manufacturing operations. 
  • Support and monitor quality assurance/control of products, services, and manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct product inspections, maintain documentation, and support ISO and internal quality requirements.
  • Help identify, document, and resolve non-conformance and quality issues; support MRB (Material Review Board) management.
  • Assist in audits (internal/external) and provide support for corrective/preventive actions.
  • Maintain and calibrate tools and gauging; recommend improvements to support quality.
  • Coordinate and communicate quality initiatives, best practices, and improvement projects.
  • Maintain accurate Quality records and reports; communicate data clearly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide practical training and guidance on quality processes as needed.
 
 Qualifications/Requirements: 
  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality, or related field. 
  • Hands-on experience in production quality processes (SPC, MSA, QDAS preferred). 
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; positive team player. 
  • Autonomous and results-driven, with ability to multi-task and coordinate projects. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic quality management tools. 
  • ASQ-CQE or similar certification is a plus but not required.
